Harbourfront Gets a New Logo
Happy Friday, !
With the kids back to school and summer turning to fall (almost), we typically go through a mindset change. I get it, it’s tough to think about your financial picture when the sun is shining and all you want to do is get outside. As we move into September, this is typically when we shake the sand out of our bathing suits and sit back down to re-evaluate our Financial Plan and make sure we’re still on the right track. If you’re ready to sit back down and update your Plan, you can book a time using the link below.
Our partner, Harbourfront, recently made some changes that I’m very excited to share with you! We took our partnership very seriously when we decided on Harbourfront, and as many of you know. We interviewed and went through the due diligence process with many top ranked firms. Even with the the countless hours spent trying to uncover every stone, we are still shocked with how they have come through on their promises and the evolution that we’ve seen in such a short period of time.
This past year, Harbourfront, has not only continued to evolve from a product standpoint, but they have just released their evolution of the logo.

You will start to see the new logo and brand on your statements and across our social media channels. I’m going to put together a quick video next week diving a little deeper into the new brand, what it represents, and what’s next!
You can also see the new, refreshed look by checking out the August Market Commentary (here).
Finally, earlier this week the Bank of Canada opted to keep rates at 5%, but left the door open for future hikes. Many experts had mixed thoughts leading up to the decision on what the BoC would do as inflation numbers had increased, but the leader in the increase was mortgage and housing costs. It would seem as though one of the leading causes for the pause was the contraction in GDP, signalling a significant slowdown in the economy. I shared a video (here) on what this means for your investments and some ideas going forward.
I hope your September is off to a fantastic start and I look forward to sitting down with you and updating your Financial Plan!
Have a great weekend,
Trevor
